Ashoka Arab World 6th AIN Forum on “Corporate Engagement with Social Entrepreneurship” is coming up!

Ashoka Arab World (AAW), the platform of social entrepreneurship, is holding its 6th Ashoka Innovation Network’s (AIN) Forum, this time organized under the theme of Corporate Engagement with Social Entrepreneurship” on the 25th of June, 2012 in Cairo, Egypt.

At AAW, we aim at shifting the thinking in Egypt from charity to sustainable development, where business and civil sectors are equal partners in solving social problems. Ashoka creates a platform for business and citizen sectors to connect and learn about how to innovatively collaborate together, building on synergies and providing value to each other.

The 6th Forum will present some of the leading examples of partnerships and collaborations between social entrepreneurs and businesses, and social-business ventures that have been successful in addressing together social problems. These will be empirical models of corporate engagement with social entrepreneurship, which manifest mutually beneficial relationships. In addition, AIN will facilitate a space to discuss key successes, challenges, learning points and needs to further enhance the social-business bridge.

If you are a business or a social entrepreneur, or part of a business organization and you are interested in positive social impact; if you are eager to explore the benefits and opportunities from business and social sector partnerships that go beyond charity donations…
